Rasmussen Pulled Out of Tour De France
Yellow jersey wearer Michael Rasmussen was sensationally kicked out of the Tour de France by his own Rabobank team, the Dutch outfit revealed on Wednesday.
Which puts Cadel Evans from Australia in 2nd Place overall with the final time trial through the streets of paris set to decide who the winner of the 2007 Tour de France is. I know i’ve been losing a lot of sleep watching these races especially the climbs in to the pirenese but the timetrial is always my favorite part of the tour and i’ve been watching for 6 years now.
I hope Evans can get at least 2nd place if not push for the Yellow Jersey but i think anything on the podium would be great because an Australian has never stood on top of the Podium in Paris before
